Pete and Mike chose to fly, Davis less enthusiastic on the single surface.  Russell went up in the tug and reported 400-600fpm lift at 2500+ cloudbase. Late start but climbs and cloudbase made them feel comfortable.  Pete's SPOT Tracker is working well.  Mike chose to land about 66 miles out. Looking at the math he wants to save some energy for the next 2 days.  Pete is finally getting high and is pushing on, for now.  4:20 Pete is high - at 8800' 20 miles from Uvalde, with a heading towards Leaky, TX.
