Robin just landed near Lamesa - for a distance of about 425. Great streets and lift on the Edwards Plateau. His glider sustained major damage yesterday during a test flight when he hit a runway light on takeoff. A big chunk was ripped off the leading edge near the tip and the front was crumpled at least 4 feet towards the nose. He spent a good part of the night fixing it. Long drive back to Houston with his driver - John Moody.
